Nonplayer Deflagging

authored by Jake Harvanchik

First and 10 on A's 30. A-1 receives the snap and completes a pass to A-2 who is near the sideline. A-2 runs parallel to the sideline and a nonplayer from Team B reaches his hand into the field of play and makes contact with A-2. A-2's flagbelt becomes unclipped. How do you enforce this?

A personal foul for Nonplayer Deflagging is assessed to Team B. The Referee shall award an automatic touchdown to Team A, and the 10-yard penalty may be enforced on the Try or after the Try at the choice of Team A. In addition, the nonplayer is disqualified from the game.
